ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Traffic & Mobility Consultants LLC (“TMC”), a leading transportation planning and traffic engineering firm backed by Grovecourt Capital Partners, today announced the acquisition of Chindalur Traffic Solutions, Inc. (“CTSi”), a Jacksonville-based traffic and transportation engineering firm serving public agencies and private developers throughout Northeast Florida.

Founded in 2014 by Raj Chindalur, CTSi has grown into one of Northeast Florida’s most trusted and versatile traffic engineering consultants. The firm brings deep expertise across the full spectrum of traffic and transportation services, including traffic operations analysis, traffic impact studies, safety studies, travel demand modeling, signal design, intersection design, and transportation policy planning. CTSi’s client work spans some of the region’s most consequential infrastructure projects — from county-wide mobility plans and corridor analyses to complex intersection redesigns and signal modifications serving state, county, and municipal clients, as well as major residential and commercial developers. Mr. Chindalur will continue in a leadership role within the combined organization.

The acquisition represents a compelling strategic fit for TMC, establishing a dedicated presence in the Jacksonville market and extending the firm’s geographic reach across Northeast Florida. CTSi’s capabilities in traffic studies, design, and transportation planning are highly complementary to TMC’s existing platform, and its deep relationships with FDOT District 2, local counties, and municipalities position the combined organization to pursue a broader range of public and private sector engagements in the region. Following TMC’s acquisitions of O’Rourke Engineering & Planning in February 2024, Lincks & Associates in May 2024, and Propel Engineering in September 2024, CTSi marks a continued chapter in TMC’s strategy to become Florida’s premier transportation engineering platform.

Matt Ryan, CEO of Traffic & Mobility Consultants, commented, “CTSi is exactly the kind of firm we look to partner with — technically excellent, deeply embedded in its local market, and built on a foundation of client trust. Raj and his team have done outstanding work across Northeast Florida, and we are excited to bring their capabilities into TMC. This acquisition accelerates our growth in the Jacksonville region and reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality transportation solutions throughout Florida.”

Mr. Chindalur added, “Joining TMC represents a natural next step for our firm and our clients. Since founding CTSi, our focus has been clear: delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions that enhance safety and efficiency within the communities we serve. Partnering with TMC and Grovecourt provides the scale, resources, and platform to pursue more complex, high-impact projects, while enabling us to deliver more efficiently, accelerate timelines, and support a broader range of agency and client needs. I am incredibly proud of what this team has built and look forward to the opportunities ahead as part of the combined organization.”

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Greenberg Traurig acted as legal advisor to TMC. Lippes Mathias LLP acted as legal advisor to CTSi.
